Horticulture and Forestry Faculty
runs the training procedure and ethical activity amidst 322 students
trained for Horticulture and Viticulture as well as Forestry. The total
number of students at Horticulture and Viticulture comes to 213, 143 of
them are trained on the state grants and 70 on the contract. At Forestry
the entire number of students equals to 109, 78 of them are trained on the
state grants and 31 on the contract. The Faculty combines the chairs like
Horticulture and Viticulture, Vegetable Growing, Keeping and Processing
Products, Selection and Seed Breeding of Fruit and Vegetables, Forestry
and Forest Melioration, Botany and
Environment Safeguarding. At the foregoing chairs over 40 teachers are
employed. Amidst them there are 11 professors, 22 associate professors, 2
senior teachers and 5 assistants. There is one academician, another
associate academician of the Uzbek
Academy for Agriculture, another
academician of the attached UN Informatization
Academy, the other two
academicians and one associate member of the Russian Federation Academy
for Agrarian Education. There are 3 honored science employees and 6
honored employees of the divergent scopes of our country economy.
